The Legend of Zelda: Search for the Sun
"When an ancient evil rises from ages long forgotten, the Sun itself is shattered, and the essence of Day is scattered across Hyrule. With Princess Zelda sealed in a realm beyond reach and the lands thrown into chaos, Link must journey across a somber kingdom in search of the sacred Shards of Day—sacred relics said to embody the very heart of life itself.
Alongside old friends–and unlikely allies–Link must search the land, brave ancient dungeons, restore hope, and uncover truths long buried beneath the sands of time.
But as the light returns to Hyrule, so too does a darker truth: the greatest challenge awaiting the Hero may not be saving the kingdom."
For generation after generation, Hyrule has known peace beneath the Sun.
But deep, deep beneath the roots of the kingdom stirs an ancient evil. A creature older than kings and goddesses, older even than the Demon King himself. When it rises from its slumber, it does not seek domination—it seeks to feed.
To feed on the despair of the creatures of this land. On their uncertainty, their sorrows, their fears, their forgetfulness, their apathy, their delusions, and their isolation.
Above it all rests a great power, granted by the Goddesses to protect their creations in their absence:
The Medallion of the Sky.
Made up of seven shards scattered across Hyrule, each representing a piece of life itself.
In the north, among the Kokiri, rests the Shard of Hope.
In the northeast, with the Zora, the Shard of Memory.
In the southeast, among the Gorons, the Shard of Warmth.
To the west, among the Sheikah, the Shard of Courage.
In the southwest, with the Gerudo, the Shard of Truth.
In the northwest, among the Rito, the Shard of Dreams.
And in the heart of Hyrule, among the people of Castletown, the Shard of Joy.
Without these pieces to sustain their regions, suppressed and lost, each place falls into chaos and despair. People give up. They become lost, fearful, cold, and disconnected—and the creature is left to feast upon them.
The hero of these people must discover what is pulling at the threads of Hyrule and cut it loose before the kingdom is plunged into an eternal hellscape. They must uncover the lost Pieces of the Sun, awaken the princess sealed away, and find their missing friend.
