Worked on @stitchonomy's Halloween SAL today 🙂 I'm way behind; but don't care, cuz im enjoying myself #crossstitch #halloweensal2020 #stitchonomy https://www.instagram.com/p/CG8gcBHBuCR/?igshid=1991e20042pon
Today's pattern from @stitchonomy is a cauldron! I'm really enjoying the little informational paragraphs she includes with the pattern. "Even though the Cauldron is just a large cast iron pot which can be used for cooking (and making potions) it is widely considered as a part of the witchcraft folklore in the western culture. This is mainly due to the cauldron being part of popular fiction such as Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Apart from magical potions a cauldron could contain also contain gold and treasures according to Irish Folklore." #HalloweenSAL2020 #StitchonomyAYoSAL #stitchalong #crossstitch #crossstitchersofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CGBUgk8DNeF/?igshid=thd3hm4n1od9
Day 5 of @stitchonomy's #HalloweenSAL2020 is Eye of Newt. I changed up the colors to better match my #NeonWitch aesthetic. "For witches, the eye of newt was a very popular ingredient to include in potions and brews. It is said the Eye of newt is not actually a litteral Eye, but a mustard seed. Witches used to give potion ingredients weird or gross names to prevent other people from practicing witchcraft. Toe of Frog is actually Butterup and Wool of Bat are Holly leaves." #StitchonomyAYoSAL #stitchalong https://www.instagram.com/p/CF-tGybj8Ld/?igshid=1augkayv5b0i6
Day 3: Not quite done yet; but I'm tired and already miscounted stitches, so ima finish it tom 😂🤪 #halloweensal2020 #stitchonomy #crossstitch https://www.instagram.com/p/CF5R79GBO2i/?igshid=185k2st9f7254
