For all that have insecurities (I myself am) Grif will say more than a few things to get you to cheer up

Literally no matter what gender, height, skin color, eye color, hair you have, or how many scars, freckles, or even acne you have Grif will love you because you are just so perfect to him and you also don’t give him shit like the others do which is a bonus

If you do get in a fight though it won’t be for long and you would probably be looking away from each other while sitting in his lap (because it takes all the energy out as Grif says)

He gets really happy when you give him food but the big topper on the cake would have to be if you get jealous or mad at someone because they decided to do something to Grif and you just place a shit ton of kisses on his face he will be blushing and giggling for the rest of the day

I feel like he would get turned on if you get jealous or really protective of him because to him you look super hot when you are pissed

Surprisingly he would be a top when you guys get it on even though he is lazy it’s the one thing he is willing to put energy into(not saying he doesn’t try his best besides that but outside the bedroom, he needs to keep the persona so Sarge doesn’t think likely of him to do stuff)

ok so. i love south with all my heart, shes so dear to me and ive made multiple tiktoks about her. tiktoks that somehow have managed to attract every south hater n their god damn mother into my comments spewing out such nonsense takes like "boo south all my homies hate south i cant believe she did that to her brother" count me OUT of ur friends list then my man cuz DID YOU NOT WATCH THE SHOW? like are we even watching the same shit here??

how can you sit there and call her a bitch and say she deserved worse when all she is doing is TRYING. she TRIES to be a good freelancer and the director kicks her down because she gets lower scores and he exploits that for his own little 'tests'. then he waves the idea of getting an AI fragment in her face only to kick her push her back when he gives eta and iota to carolina and epsilon to wash (don't even get me started) because the director KNOWS it will get into her head and make her despise her peers for being 'better' and 'more worthy' than her, all while those same peers are CONSTANTLY condescending towards her.

"hey south, pay attention. you might actually learn something if you stop running your mouth for a minute" -carolina, season 9.

south is constantly tested to the limits of her anger and forced into a corruptive spiral of failure, being so focused on winning that she losing sight of her goals and is taken over by the greed of validation and showing her peers that she too is strong and worthy of a fragment.

how dare you sit there and tell me that South didn't care for North when her thoughts and emotions are being toyed with every fucking waking second of her life. imagine you were forced to look upon what you have failed to become just by being in the same room as your teammates. imagine that your own twin brother was viewed as so much better than you that unknowingly you were pit against him in an experiment to see how you would react to him getting an AI but not you. imagine how bitter and resentful you'd feel because for the life of you you cannot figure out what's so different about you and your peers other than the numbers on a scoreboard that is on every wall big enough for a screen in the ship you live on, constantly having the idea that you're not good enough shoved down your throat till you lash out at everyone around you, and then everyone wonders why you're so aggressive all the time. i'd be pretty fucking pissed.

you can't say that south doesn't care about north because yes she does. the amount of trust that is evident in their fighting style is insane and they're evidently extremely close. she didn't kill him she puts him in a position to be killed because, like maine, her greed for power and to prove herself to the director have blinded her to reality and she is given no time to properly grieve before she herself is killed by washington.

am i saying all this because she i agree with her actions? no of course not. but i am sick and tired of her actions being taken as her own decisions rather than as a result of years of manipulation from her boss and peers that is taken as shocking and disgusting when they see the consequences of what its all lead up to.

south is always just a "bitch" to the community around the show rather than what the show presents to us: a deeply flawed character made worse by her own desires and powers that are so far out of her control turning her into their puppet. as a character she is beautiful and is given no time to develop into anything post-freelancer like wash and carolina are, before she is killed because she 'can't be trusted'. you know who else can't be trusted?? the director. yet he gets a turn-around right at the end and the option to take his own life.

was there any point to me writing this? probably not but i've been experiencing big emotions all day and i needed an outlet so. here we go. my stupid little thoughts scribbled out and thrown into the tumblr void. hope you enjoyed ❤️.
