Went to a western show yesterday. Royal is truly my superstar. (Despite not going to today's English show. I feel miserable. Serves me right not drinking enough) We won first in halter- awe yeah. The judge was super impressed with him hahah not bad for a backyard accident ;) Second in western pleasure- big canter no lope lol he was still good though. Costume- didn't place- others had awesome costumes fair enough. Command- 2nd place how? Idk thank god the judge didn't wanna see royal place badly because he was stopping to poop and she asked for the halt 😂 the girl who beat us has a really nice reining /gaming horse. Never would've beat her anyways shah Egg and spoon- 5th place- should've been 4th because the 1st place guy cheated. He held under the spoon part when you're supposed to hold the handle. The second place girl announced "oh well he cheated to win anyways" really loudly. Ballsy. 😂 I saw my egg turning in the canter and I'm like "damn we're so done" (won last year though ;) ) Barrels- second place. He drifts to the in gates 😡 but it was a clean run. And he's so much faster than he let's on holy shit. Running "home" was my favorite part. Flag- took mom's lease pony because he was being a shit to her during her run. DQ'd. He was afraid of the shadows lol (greenie) Keyhole- 3rd. Poles- 3rd. His run up the poles was amazing holy shit. Usually he's too slow going up the arena but he gunned it. And out like a bullet going home too. My favorite run of the day. We're just too slow though the poles but it was pretty lol
