Verity had received the news that her friend was back in town and figured she’d try seek him out for once so that she wouldn’t be too distracted at work wanting to catch up on what he had been up to while away. She had reached for her phone after walking up that morning and decided to drop him a text.

Verity: Hey! I heard you are back in town?? Verity: I need to see you asap as I want to know all the things  you have been up too. Verity: Want to meet somewhere for breakfast?

Rodney made his way quickly through the West side towards the Thompson house. His goal was to help Hailey move some of her stuff and test out her new allegiances. As much as he wanted to trust that her choice was genuine, he'd be a foolish leader not to show some caution. He had to look out for his family first and above all. His hand rested against the blade in his pocket on the off-chance he ran into some trouble over here. Coming to the massive house, he stared at it for a long while. This was a bad idea. He shook off the negative feelings and replaced it with a confident smirk  before knocking and waiting rather impatiently for access to wherever Hailey was.
