TRUTHFULLY, BENJEN ENJOYED HOLIDAYS. There was something about the holiday season that took away all the BAD THINGS about the world, and put them to rest for just a little while at least. Festive holidays were Benjen’s favourites-----------------Christmas & Halloween. He always made an effort to be jovial and be a little more social at those times of year; THAT was just how much he loved them.

But his favourite thing about ALL the holidays, if he had to pick just one thing, was the Stark family and friends Christmas Party. It was always held at a SWANKY place with an endless supply of food, drink and laughter. It always made his COLD HEART feel warm, to see every one together at the same time && to see people he hadn’t seen all year. It TRULY was the time to be merry.

The theme was always business casual with a touch of Christmas je ne sais quoi. He wore a black buttoned down shirt with black pants && shoes, his certain Christmas addition to his CLASSY outfit was a tie. It was BRIGHT green with Christmas light bulbs all over it. He rather liked the opportunity to wear it && he received many compliments on it.

DESPITE the fact that he was quite happy and that he was thoroughly enjoying himself, he found himself to feel OVERWHELMED. He was accustomed to being on his own, so, he managed to sneak off. He made his way to the kitchen, which was currently vacant, and found his way to the fridge. He opened the fridge and grabbed a bottle of CHAMPAGNE. He held it in his hand and looked at it, but in that moment, he heard the door open.

It was Jorya Mormont.

He grinned at her, and went to look for a couple of glasses. ❛ You had it with being social too ? ❜ he laughs.

with the distance that had been placed between he and the red keep , thoughts were allowed to be free to roam as far and as wide as preferred . the battle was no longer he wanted anything to do with , a waste of time and for what ? the same shite under a different man ? wildfire the only need ? his path was paved by himself alone . hence why bear island seemed to be a suitable fit .

“ it could be worse . ” being a man of few words was common , however he spoke truly . their situation could very well be worse as he’d said previously , they could be in the presence of the damn king .

“Jorya,” Myriam said, as she did almost every morning of life. “Wake up, it’s just me,” she said, and smiled when the other girl’s eyes opened. “You alright? I brought you breakfast,” she smiled, reaching the other a cup of coffee and a cup of hot porridge with honey - a speciality of the coffee shop she worked in - not the most appetising of breakfasts but it was warm and would give her energy, keep her full for a while. “Let me know when you finish this off and I’ll bring you a Danish after if you want it,” she grinned.
