“A demon — That’s the hint.” Jackson was slouched in his seat, and quite clearly disinterested in making eye contact with the camera as he seemed to look everywhere but dead ahead. It was body language that simply conveyed ‘I don’t wanna be here’. But for someone who seemed to want to get the ordeal over with, he was taking an awful long time to formulate his guesses.
“I, ah— I dunno, Halzhar... I guess.” Furrowing his brow over the thought of who he’d grown closest to, the vampire crossed his arms over his chest and managed to sink further into his seat. “The guy doesn’t piss me off. He’s alright, I don’t mind talking to him, and I guess that’s more than anyone else around here’s gotten from me.”
It was the thought of horror movies that finally brought an unsettling smirk to his otherwise bleak face. There was one who he’d love to take the opportunity to torment and watch flail around with fear... “Min. I wouldn’t miss the chance to turn on that twonk in a horror movie.”
“—Right, then...” Jack trailed off, well aware that the most sought-after guess by viewers at home was saved for last. Not only that, but it was the only one to obviously give him some trouble. Unlike with his previous answers, he was now much less smug. “I’d be daft not to say Mia,” He all but mumbled, leaning forward in his seat to rest his elbows on his knees, too anxious to sit still. “If you’ve seen her, you’d think the same,” The vampire continued on, sounding far too defensive for arguing with nothing but a camera. “—And hell, she fits the hint.” And that, was exactly why it seemed too simple and too good to be true.
