Talking to people complaining about Hamilton is like reading people complaining that a fic clearly marked "Canon Divergent, AU - Founding Fathers are Cool" is not canon-compliant. I KNOW it's not canon-compliant, I'm enjoying the music. Just like I KNOW that those two characters didn't really meet in a coffee shop and one is problematic in canon, but I'm enjoying the coffee shop AU nonetheless. If you want canon-compliant, go read history. Let me enjoy my musical in peace.

So finally I had the time to watch Hamilton on streaming. (side note I've been begging every person I know for the last two years to go to London to see it live even if it wasn't the original cast.)

Have I cried? Heck yeah

Did I like it? Double heck yeah

Am I gonna watch it again with every person who refused to come with me to London just to make them see what a masterpiece they missed? You can bet I'm not throwing away my shot 😉
