This cut is from a new EP by Melbourne’s Hamish Lang. He’s one half of Bad Blocks, who are signed to my label. I didn’t even know he was working on a solo project and one day I just saw it go live on his Facebook. He just quietly uploaded without any expectations. At the time of posting this track here, “Take” has 132 listens. Thing is, once you listen to it, you wouldn’t bat an eyelash if it had … say ... 940,000 listens. The fact that music as good as this can vanish without a trace makes me cringe. If you want undiscovered gems, it doesn’t get much more undiscovered than this one.
