What I find interesting is the juxtaposition of the menorah and the shellfish. One is a symbol of Judaism, and in my understanding the other is forbidden. I only know basic information about Hamadi, but I do know that genies, like humans, can have tastes that contradict their religious beliefs, like how you might encounter a Muslim who drinks alcoholic.
