UPDATE AND BIG NEWS: Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us over the last few months through the deaths of Danny’s mother, my mother, and my father. It’s been…a lot. Thank you for being there, and for continuing to be there. Grief is a journey. Now for the big news: we’re moving to Virginia at the end of May. There are many reasons - my career, Wm attending Longwood, closer proximity to my brother and his kids. It’s the right decision at the right time, and we’re excited about the move. But after a decade here, I leave part of my soul in New Orleans; we won’t be gone forever. Danny and I will be a frequent visitors. (Friends with guest rooms, let us know what treats you’d like from the Commonwealth when we land on your doorsteps! Please don’t say “a whole Smithfield ham.” That’s really unpopular on a plane. #hamsmell 🐷) NOLA friends - if we haven’t caught up in a while, let’s get together before I go. I’ll be back and forth to the East Coast between now and then, but we can make it happen. If nothing else, my front porch is open, and there’s always coffee. ☕️ Virginia friends - INCOMING.
