After being dropped off right outside the back entrance of the airport to avoid being recognised and seen, Luhan stepped into the long white corridor and waited as a member of the airport staff went to find and collect Hyoseong once she arrived, and show her back this way. A little anxious but excited, Luhan shifted on his feet from side to side a few times and looked down at his phone, deciding to send a text to be sure.

→ There is a staff member coming to help you with your luggage and take you to me out a different way just in case of fans, is that ok?
Luhan finally let out a breath as he stepped into the elevator of Hyoseongs apartment building, straight from the underground parking lot. His heart was racing fast and it had been doing so since he had stealthily climbed from the dorms window and jumped down onto the outside bins- whilst the members kept a look out inside in case the managers and security were snooping around again. Since the news of their friends lawsuit, they had been under a strange lockdown by the company and their recent schedules had been either cancelled or moved. Pressing the button for tenth floor, the dark-haired man sighed again to calm himself down. He’d parked his car beside hers in the lot, which was a good definite sign that she was in, there was no need to worry.
Once the doors opened on the tenth floor he walked out, turned automatically towards the door of the apartment, tapped in the security code and let himself in. Immediately as he stepped inside and slipped off his sneakers by the other shoes, Luhan spotted Hyoseong sleeping on her side on the couch, slowing down so he would make less noise. With a smile he tiptoed over the laminate flooring and crouched in front of her, resting his hands on his knees. It only took a second until his smile faded at the worry and tear stains on her cheeks, a lot more visible now he was closer to her. So she would not wake up too abruptly he reached out and touched her arm before leaning in to place a kiss on her stained cheek, whispering out, “Hyoseong-ah?”
Luhan checked his phone for the time as he walked and raised his eyebrows at the numbers on the screen, it was only half ten in the morning...in Luhan time, that's pretty early.
He'd been woken up around four in the morning by the maknae launching himself on his bed and then half an hour later their managers informed everyone that the director had gotten injured so it had been rescheduled. Naturally, everyone else went back to sleep...but Luhan couldn't with all that was running through his mind, so he went out to clear it. As he walked he remembered how Hyoseong had told him that she was going to see her manager this morning and finally tell him about the news and Luhan paused then, debating whether to go meet her.
After an hour or so he had finally jumped in his car and started driving in the direction of TS Entertainment, hoping that she'd be pleased to see him and hoping that the meeting with her manager had gone well...or well enough.
It was only until he was a few metres away from the side entrance of the building, shuffling quickly with his hat and scarf to avoid being noticed- did he see her exit through the very doors he was heading too. Jogging lightly over to her before she had time to see him, he smiled happily like he did every time he saw her and then pulled at the scarf to reveal it, speaking out from behind her to get her attention.
Luhan stumbled out of the elevator and into the hallway of the third floor, the long metallic gift bag stuffed with tissue paper that was holding a bottle of champagne swinging dangerously by his side. It was honestly a miracle that it hadn't been damaged yet from his drunken staggering but then...he had had help up until a few moments ago. Leaning his hand against the wall for support, he wasn't sure why it was hard so hard to walk and figure out where he was. He wasn't that drunk right? He hadn't drunken that much right? Where was she? Where was he? Squinting down the well lit long room, he realised that he couldn't remember which room he was supposed to go to. Rather than text his girlfriend, Luhan "logically" decided the best approach would be to call out loudly into the corridor, forgetting that there would be other people staying in the other rooms.
Lu Han nodded slowly to himself as he sent the last text and shoved his phone back into his pocket firmly. Then he leant against the doorway as he waited for her to head up the stairs, the dorm quiet and shrouded in darkness behind him. As he waited, he noticed how his senses had dumbed yet strangely heightened too. For example he couldn't feel the cold chill of the night air, yet he could strongly smell the alcohol in his own breath. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment before blinking them open again, his heart racing a little in anticipation of seeing his girlfriend again after a few days apart from her.
Lu Han woke up in his bed in the afternoon and turned his head to the side to check the time on the alarm clock. He groaned. So early...Sleep was one thing he could do well. He even used to sleep in class. He used to sleep so much that he could sleep days away but these days...he found himself waking up at ridiculous times. I blame the medicine. Lu Han scratched his shoulder as he sat up groggily, and swung his legs over the bed. Blinking sleepily until a glint of red foil caught his eye-- the man stared at the jar of strawberry candy on his bedside table in confusion before he remembered that his girlfriend had left them there, whilst himself and the rest of EXO were in Beijing for schedules. The sleepiness was washed away immediately and he grabbed the jar in slight panic, choosing to hide it away under his bed before anyone entered his room and saw it.
He stood up onto his feet quickly and exhaled. Perhaps a little too quickly for his condition, as suddenly a shooting pain soared through his head so fast that it sent him to the ground on his knees, clutching his head and calling out.
