Gotta make a post right quick of this delightful commission I got of Jin and Hanako made by the lovely @moonthepuppetmaster!!! Thank you SO MUCH for making this for me!! It's got all kinds of teensy details that I had to zoom in on to see (I might actually need glasses getting my eyes tested soon but that's unrelated lmao) and I'm so touched by the effort and the love that got put into this! THANK YOU!! I requested Jin and Hanako as Link and Malon respectively because I've FINALLY been getting into the Zelda series and have developed a soft spot for Link and Malon both separately and as a couple! The idea that Malon gives Link something that so fundamentally helps him on all his quests going forward (Epona) is beautiful. You can feel her presence through Epona, even when she isn't there. Anyways, I think Moonie knocked it out of the park! I think Moonie's commissions are still open, so hit them up for some art! They are super nice, kept me updated at every stage, very professional and fun to work with!! Would recommend!!

ok preface to say i dont really ship anyone in the series (certified aroace moment) HOWEVER i wanna expand on my hanajin thoughts bc i think they could have a really interesting dynamic in the sense that they actually have a lot of similarites. they're both the youngest in their families (technically we don't know if hana has siblings or not, but she IS significantly younger than dera), they both are the cleaners of their respective factions, they both have an obligate sense of duty towards their superiors, however jin seems to follow everything gonzo says due to feeling like he needs to try harder to be accepted as a kagemori (from the ch 44 flashback); meanwhile hana inherited her position from her mother , but also independently agrees with dera outside of his status as her boss in that she also thinks yuru should be able to live a normal life. theyre also both caretakers for each of the twins (we know that gonzo is like the main provider and that asa also hangs out with hikaru, but cmon jin was literally the one who found her). but what actually got me thinking about all this and their potential dynamic was the scene where jin hires hana to bury the gardener. there's a lot of professionalism/mutual respect between the two,,,,, jin offering to make her any drink on the menu, hana offering to bury the gardener on her family mountain and to clean his grave every year,,,,,,,, much to think about
Happy Halloween! (What? You didn't know that Halloween extends through November?) Here's Jin and Hanako enjoying the season with all the Jack-O-Lanterns they've carved! really outdid themselves with the sheer number they've created. Anyways, this is absolutely adorable and I'm in love with it!!
