Today’s experiments are drag inspired (as so much body art is!) particularly by drag artists Sophie Rose Garland (Images 1 and 2, source: https://www.instagram.com/sophierosegarland/) and Hanaquist (Image 3, source: https://www.instagram.com/hanaquist/). We don’t usually think of ourselves as a collection of cells/compounds - but if these components were visible to us, would we be able to more clearly see the connection/similarities between us and our surroundings? I would be interested in photographing the printed textiles as a continuation of printed skin or vice versa.
