In 2021, I did a little Hans and Natalia doodle on Christmas (it's on my @kam00dles side blog), and I felt like doing that again this year.
This pic was inspired by the fact that in Frozen: Past the Present Time (the yet-unwritten second fic of my Frozen: Step into the Dawn trilogy), Hans and Natalia announce their first pregnancy to their family on Christmas. This drawing would not be that exact scene, since that scene happens outside in the cold, but this can be the aftermath later that evening or the next day, when they're discussing it further with the fam.
Do you have any Frozen fic recs? Especially ones with a redemptive element but it's not necessary.
I am honored that you would ask me this, and a bit embarrassed that I currently have very few* to offer. (Note: I stuck to completed stories, avoiding the handful of fics I still follow that aren't finished and haven't been updated in a while.)

Besides what's listed above and the possibly 10 abandoned fics I didn't include, I think I've only read maybe five other Frozen fics, and obviously I didn't find them either 1) memorable or 2) recommendable. ^^;
Interestingly, I have roughly 50 fics in my "potential possible reading material" list that promise some thread of a Hans redemption or a positive canon-divergent route. I hope to one day actually read these (or at least look at them more closely to see if they hold my interest for a full read), but there's multiple barriers to me doing so.
First is time. My free time is sparse, so reading fics gets knocked down the priority list not just in terms of life responsibilities but in terms of other creative pursuits (i.e. should I really read someone else's fic when I need to be working on my own?).
Second is, because I am still actively working on my fics (and will be for a long time), I don't want to accidentally absorb someone else's idea and unwittingly use it.
Third, over the years I've found that I'm quite picky in what I consume artistically (both for visual and written works). I have to like the style, I have to like the depiction of the characters, I have to like the moral(s) being presented, and so on. So I'm wary of getting into any new fics because I don't want to be disappointed and feel like I wasted my time (as per reason #1).
So, apologies if this was wasn't very helpful. I suppose, if anyone is interested, I can add those 50-ish links into this Read More with the caveat that I haven't read them and therefore don't necessarily recommend them.
My adorable commission(s) of Natalia and Hans from @danvama! She did two versions of Hans for me, so I made some slight edits to Natalia in the top image for depictions of two different (yet similar) scenes in my fanfic series, Frozen: Step into the Dawn. The first is from Frozen: Sacrifice and Forgiveness Chapter 9 (link in the source field), and the second will occur in Frozen: Past the Present Time.
So if Hans + Anna = Hanna (or Hansanna), and Hans + Elsa = Helsa (or Hanselsa), then does Hans + Natalia = Hatalia? Hanatalia? Hansalia? (The trials of naming a ship.) [It may have been obvious to some of you already, but I've shipped these two since I created Natalia, which was right after I first saw Frozen in Nov. '13.]
