I've been most unsuccessful in trying to get Violet to feed off of me, so we've been giving her the bottle with formula from day one. she had a little issue with spit up and vomiting and what a nurse assumed was reflux but she's totally fine now, little piggy is up to 20 oz of formula in a 24 hr period and she's not even 3 weeks yet. Stupid letdown causes my breasts to leak and so I turn to handpumping since I don't have a pump, and I can barely get out maybe 5 mL or something along those lines, I then syringe it into her mouth so she's getting some sort of nutrients from me. I feel like its not fair, my boobs never grew and my milk never really came in. barely enough to cover the bottom of a cup. I pump until they're red and my hands are cramped. maybe I'm not doing it right idk. I still have the same A-cups I did before I was pregnant. this is so frustrating!
