Trying to interpret Louis and Harry’s music without benefit of a “larrie lens” must be confusing as hell.
Arguably my favorite setting of this text. Just....right.
There are MANY things I don’t know about the business/label situations of Louis, or Harry.
Three things I do know:
Louis loves Harry and doesn’t enjoy seeing his fans disparage his quirky, Gucci grandpa, husband.
Harry loves Louis and hates to see his fans malign his loud, sometimes impetuous, sweet creature.
Tearing down one does NOTHING to help the other.
It is well BEYOND credulity to think all these parallels between Harry’s and Louis’ songs are mere coincidence. I smell collusion - I DEMAND an investigation!
Isn’t it funny how all us larries are so supportive of Kill My Mind and Louis in general? It’s almost like we can love Harry and Louis at the same time.
Novel concept for some, I know.
Thank you so much Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles. My dash is either a ghost town, or blowing up with NO TIME to process everything!
I’m on a non-profit board in my community. We meet once a month and our organization provides some very vital services. At our last meeting we found we needed to move the February one from it’s usual date. Most everyone on the board is married and/or in a long term relationship. We all decided the evening of February 14th was most convenient. None of us were concerned about having the meeting on Valentines day. Sure, we’ll get our loved ones cards and maybe flowers. We’ll probably go out on a “Valentine” date over the next weekend.
The point is that the practicalities of life are more important than observing a certain day (especially on the exact date) for many in healthy, long term relationships. Making time for each other is extremely important - observing specific and symbolic dates is less so. I’ve been married for nearly a quarter century.
Next time it appears Louis and Harry are apart on a birthday, or some sort of anniversary - relax. They are fine. Harry’s “Louis” glow at the L.A. Louver art gallery is more than enough proof they’re doing just fine.
