Time to transform!

I went to a designer/handmade fair together with some friends this spring. There I found wonderful magnets at one booth and had to have this "castle in the sky" design, because it looks a) very beautiful and b) reminded me of dreams I used to have a lot as a child.

I knew immediately I wanted the magnet to be a brooch. Luckily there was only a small magnet clued to the back of the wooden design. It was easy to pry that off and just glue a brooch backing on instead. The brooch was meant to be paired with this dress I made previously! The dress bodice has flying ships and clouds and flowers and stuff, so it really fits with the theme of the new brooch ^-^

The necklace is also a previous DIY, it's some pretty fabric glued to a pendant backing with a glass cabochon on top to cover & enhance it.

Hello there! 🍀✨ It’s been a while, and now I’m here to show you a new kind of things I’m creating, these are wearable pieces of art, and it feels like a new era😊💚 I’m not going to stop working on my OOAK art dolls, I have my heart in them, but uniqueness is a luxury which is hardly affordable these dark days, so I had to create some other project for my own survival. Here we go!
