i picked up kumihimo and quickly realized i needed a marudai. this braid would be a nightmare on a disk but it's lovely to work on a stand
progress! i'm hoping to make a pair of bootlaces from this cord, and since i wound the bobbins unevenly i'll end up with lengths of three-color and two-color cord
i love this pattern. my counterweight is too high, though. (my bobbins are currently clothespins. which are ~6g each)
