Welcome to Furnace Brook Iron Works, in business now for 29 years. Given that I work alone, I have decided to stop taking prepaid orders and create a waiting list for the time being. You may sign up with no obligation or deposit. As I work through the list and your name comes up, you will be notified that your order is about to be started and payment will be required at that time for me to proceed. At the time you add your name to the list, you will be asked to please included what item / items and quantity you would like to purchase so I am able to plan accordingly when the time comes to start your order. Time frames are estimated and vary depending on my workload and current projects, but are usually approximately **** 4 to 8 weeks***** again the reason for this list is to keep my workload under control and not have my customers wait any longer than necessary. Plant Hanger Heavy duty, Hand Forged

For just $42.00 This is one of our heavy duty plant hangers that can be used both indoors or outside. Made to be used on the corner of a building or attached to a wood post on a deck or patio. These were designed to hold very heavy baskets outdoors but work well inside too, especially in post and beam homes. Constructed from 1/2" iron and available in several sizes. These are plant hangers that are far from anything found in a big box store and are without question handmade. Adding the look and feel of real hand forged wrought iron to where ever they are used. Plant Hanger, Fiddlehead Style Hand Forged

For just $24.00 Here is another one of our wrought iron plant hangers we offer from our blacksmith shop in the very popular fiddlehead style. We make all of our iron work here, one piece at a time. Heated in our forge and hand hammered to shape on an antique anvil, right here in the green mountains of Vermont. Shown in our black oil finish but also available in our rust brown and gray forge finishes. Shown and available in two different lengths. You can choose from either the 11" or the 7" sizes but can be made in other sizes if needed. Hanging plant not included

Firepoker, Twisted Handle. Hand Forged

For just $65.00 This is another of our fireplace tools we make here in our Vermont blacksmith shop. It has a regular pointed and hooked end to tend the fire but this one has our new rope twisted handle. Works great in both the fireplace and the wood stove and looks good doing it too! Made from 1/2" steel which makes for a very substantial piece. Approximately 36" long but can be made to any length. Hand forged right here in our Vermont blacksmith shop one at a time as always. We use traditional methods in our shop including fire welding using only a coal fired forge and hand hammering to shape on an antique anvil Shown in our black oil, rust and gray forge finishes. Wrought iron plant hanger

For just $125.00 Here is another plant hanger we offer from our blacksmith shop right here in Vermont. The arm and braces are made from 1/2" steel to hold the heaviest plant basket but can also have many other uses, such as a hanging lamp holder or to hang a bird feeder perhaps. This item was made using only traditional construction methods. Heated in our coal fired forge with our own handmade rivets to hold all the pieces together. It is a very solid hanger. The back plate is approximately 22" long and the length from the wall to the center of the hook is 12 1/2" This hanger can be used indoors or out and can be made in any size, larger or smaller. Finished in our black hand applied oil and wax finish. Wrought Iron Candle Holder

For just $58.00 This is one of our wrought iron candle wall sconces. It is approximately 14" long and 5" deep and is made from 3/4" x 1/4" iron. Shown in our black oil finish but also available in our rust brown finish as well. Hand forge as always in our Vermont blacksmith shop. Heated in a coal fired forge and hammered to shape on an antique anvil. These are one of many items we offer to bring the look and feel of real hand forged wrought iron to your home. Hand Forged Plant Hanger, Rams Head

For just $35.00 This is another one of our heavy duty iron hangers, shown with the rams head shaped end. These are made from 1/2" square stock and are designed to hold the heaviest plants. Just right for a hanging baskets or pendant lights indoors or outside. Shown in our black oil finish but also available in our rust brown finish and gray forge finishes as well. All of our iron work is made one at a time in our blacksmith shop. Heated in our forge and hand hammered to shape on an antique anvil, right here in the mountains of Vermont. Wrought Iron Fire tool, Scrolled End

For just $65.00 This is another style fireplace, wood stove and fire pit poker we are offering from our Blacksmith shop here in Vermont. These have a looped scrolled end that fits the hand just right when your adjusting the logs in your fireplace or wood stove and then sits there looking great until it's needed again! These are available in longer lengths for outdoor firepits and barbecues. Hand forged as always one at a time. Heated in our coal fired forge and hand hammered to shape on an antique anvil so each one is unique and one of a kind. Shown in our gray forge finish but also available in our Black oil and Rust brown finishes. Made from 1/2" thick solid steel and from 36" to 60" long.
