               “it scares me, actually,” her voice is small, hands preoccupied with petting at a small sprout trying so hard to grow from the concrete steps in the middle of a Seoul winter. the weather is unseasonably warm despite the snow fall they had a few days ago. most of the white now turned into a grey slush that clings to any grass and concrete steps untouched by the sun. “thinking about how the galaxy holds so many stars and could that be the same for people? how many stories does a person hold? and that we never really remember the exact happenings of the story. it changes every time we remember it. i love my stories.”

                    a sense of elation and joy coursed through her when haneul announced that she had proceed bubbles for their day out. the basket was already packed to the brim with a thick blanket, food, and kite for them to fly if the weather permitted. it was a little unorthodox to hold a picnic in the back of minhyun’s mother’s car but being cooped in the house when the snow shut the city down was starting to weigh on minhyun’s nerves.                     “do you think, the bubbles will freeze if we blow them in the cold air?” a hefty groan leaves her lips as she hoist the basket up into her arms with her thick coat restricting some of her movement. “that is one science experiment i am willing to try.”
