Have you been missing fanfic about confused ineffable aces in a human AU? Have your days been bereft of hesitant roommates in a might-be-relationship? Do you just want to read about getting drunk and cuddling in the South Downs?

The updates will be unpredictable. The plot will not. We both know the tropes, and I'm here to deliver.

Not very long ago at all, there lived a bookseller in the South Downs. She kept her shop open Monday through Thursday, from eleven ack emma until two in the afternoon, but because of her odd hours and her unwillingness to allow any customers to make it past the foyer, she rarely sold any books.

At the same time, there was a secondary teacher who’d recently lost their job in London. They’d quit, technically. They hadn’t actually been fired, as such. The thing was, they’d managed to stick their rather sharp beak of a nose too deeply into a local school board issue and had ended up on the wrong side of important people who didn’t like anyone being on the wrong side of them. It hadn’t been the school teacher’s fault. Not really.
