Talking to Horses is So Hot Right Now: Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting & Hannah Davis Kick Off New Trend
Talking to Horses is So Hot Right Now: Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting & Hannah Davis Kick Off New Trend
Some trends make sense—skinny jeans, ombre hair, full eyebrows, etc etc. Others make none whatsoever, but are awesome anyway. We’re going to put talking to horses in the latter category.
First, there was swimsuit model (and Derek Jeter’s GF) Hannah Davis’s DirecTV commercials, some of which featured Davis hanging out on an exotic beach with a white horse who, inexplicably, had the power to speak… with an Australian accent. A newly-released “behind the scenes” video of Davis and Horse fails to explain how the beast learned to speak, but does reveal that he’s multilingual. Also, he’s kind of a perv.
In an extremely random and somewhat ill-conceived promotion for People Magazine’s ‘Most Beautiful’ list, Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting finds herself being interviewed by her pet horse, Thor. (See video above.) Thor is far less smooth than Horse, which would be endearing, but the fact that he’s not actually capable of verbalizing his thoughts—other than via subtitle—is extremely distracting. Come on, People, get your digital animal mouth special effects department in order!!
Similarly to Davis’s very forward foal (I know Horse isn’t a foal anymore but alliteration), Cuoco-Sweeting’s exchange gets awkward when Thor is all of a sudden like, “How do I stack up in the looks department?” and KC-S says, “Oh you are DEFINITELY the sexiest horse alive.” Guess they can’t all be *studs*…
Not since Mr. Ed’s heyday (…hayday?) have equines been so verbal. But you herd it here first: Talking horses are definitely in.
