4. A story idea you haven't written yet?

I actually have so many of these, it’s kind of a problem lol. I tried to find one I haven’t posted about before but I think I have posted about all of them at some point or another.
So I think I’ll just choose my college town au since I have been obsessed with that recently.
This one is going to have Harringrove as the primary ship, and probably some side ships but i haven't decided on those yet. I think this one might be Steve POV only, and it’s a different first meeting/no sci fi/fantasy elements au.
So Steve knows Dustin at the beginning, but maybe not any of the other characters. Steve and Dustin are friends, and Steve used to babysit Dustin when Dustin was a little kid. As Dustin got towards the end of high school and started working on college applications and stuff he started pushing for Steve to reapply to college. College applications didn’t go well the first time Steve tried back when he was in high school, and it’s a pretty sore subject for him. But with Dustin’s encouragement and help he ends up applying, and to his surprise more than anyone else’s he gets in.
Steve and Dustin decide they are going to go to the same college, and live together while there. The plan is that this way, Dustin can help Steve with any academic stuff he’s struggling with and Steve can help Dustin with the social stuff.
Steve & Dustin are going to be gradually meeting all of the other characters, who are all going to be going to the same school and/or living/working in the town.
I’m taking a lot of inspo from my hometown for the setting of this and I am excited about it. It can be easy for me sometimes to focus on the parts of my hometown that I don’t like, but this is a really fun opportunity to focus on the stuff about it that I love. Which is good because my wife just got into a grad program here so I’m going to be here a while longer. xD
