Clasping the box, wrapped in metallic wrapping paper, in his hands, Kasper stepped and knocked on the door to Hannah’s apartment. He was excited for the night ahead. He’d spent the morning looking for the perfect present for Hannah, and with Christmas Day being just hours away, he couldn’t help but feel the rush of excitement.

First dates; Kasper & Hannah

Kasper played absently with his cufflinks and, without paying much attention to his surroundings, sipped at his whiskey on ice while he waited for his date to arrive. He'd asked Hannah out by Owl a few days before hand, and was curious now whether the lack of reply meant no. He was ready to stand up and leave when the door of the restaurant opened not far behind him, and he glanced over his shoulder and the faint genuine smile graced his lips. "I was worried you weren't going to make it, our table is ready."
