Hannah’s Homemade began when North Carolina born, now Brooklyn based friends Hannah and Erin lamented the lack of tasty pimento cheese in New York City. After introducing pimento cheese to New York friends on Fire Island over July 4th 2012, Hannah and Erin saw the need to make delicious southern style pimento cheese available to everyone, including Yankees above the Mason-Dixon line.
Sometimes called “Carolina Caviar,” pimento cheese is a southern food staple, enjoyed on a sandwich, cracker, hamburger, celery, or just straight out of the jar on a spoon.
Hannah's Homemade seeks to recreate the simple southern pleasure of pimento cheese, using fresh, locally sourced New York ingredients.
