Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start! As some of you know, I used to do a lot of YouTube voiceover projects back in the day, and the biggest one was a Mermaid Melody fandub of EVERY song from the series. I played Hanon, one of the main characters--and now, six years later, the project organizer/songwriter brought back most of the original cast to re-record the series' most famous song! Getting to revisit Hanon was so much fun, and even though I haven't made her accurate necklace or hip roll yet, I loved getting to cosplay her and voice her once more! Mizuiro Pearl Voice! 💙🧜🏻‍♀️ To cheer myself up, I did a wig test (sans proper makeup haha) of Hanon from Mermaid Melody! I’ll be doing a stylized shoot of her mermaid look at a photo workshop next week, and I wanted to try on the wig and seastars by @rose_the_mermaid_ together. The wig is not as aqua as I would have liked, but it’s thick and fluffy and was less than $20, so whatever. Fun fact: back when I still did a lot of voiceover work in college, I voiced Hanon in a HUGE YouTube Mermaid Melody fandub project! Hanon is my special soprano fashion gal and I’m excited to bring her to life in my tail from @the2tails (spoiler: I have a discount code for them if you want to become a magical merperson).
