The Citizens' Voice newspaper in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., is reporting that a body found inside a Ford Ranger pickup truck near #GuntersvilleLake on April 12 is believed to be Randy Herman, 53, of #HanoverTownship, Pa. The man had a gunshot wound to the head. Herman was the prime suspect in the death of #GailMonahan, whose body was found Feb. 11 in the townhouse that she shared with Herman, the newspaper said. An autopsy determined that Monahan, 50, had been shot in the head. During a Friday news conference, police in Pennsylvania said they believe Herman fled to Alabama after the murder based on credit card records. Police said Herman used his debit card to pay for a room at a Super 8 motel in Athens. ATV riders came across Herman's pickup truck and the body in a wooded area near Guntersville Lake. Marshall County investigators recovered two handguns and a wallet containing Monahan's identification cards, The Citizens' Voice reported. Police said DNA testing and dental records may be needed to positively identify the body as Herman. Herman and Monahan worked together at #HospitalCentralServices in #Kingston, Pa.
