Disco Volante is the only album I can recall as making me actually angry from how disinterested i was in it and that embarrasses me. Its so weird I love the other 2 bungle albums but got filtered by this?how? How can I be "filtered" by any album. And everyone who likes it is always cool and smart and enlightened so its not a good look for me. I need to try again and see if Im smart and attractive enough for it in the current year
I actually love the new bug w the tags or whatever it makes keysmashing on my phone so much easier

on a related note, I spent a good bit of today worried about the sacred/profane because Prom was held in the exact same venue that we go to for our take on Yule, before I actually came to grips with Prom as a rite in and of itself
And then I started thinking about the sheer weight of spirit that that temple carries, as a space that’s seen so many uses, from the order that founded it to the codification at solstice to the regimentation when I preformed there to the exultant chaos of Prom, and something something all the way to the way we funny little monkeys grant inanimate objects and structures a life of their own, purely from the shared excesses in our own experiences
