15 Things That Make Me HAPPEE

Mat. Um. Hm. Yes. He certainly brightens my day whenever I see him, he pushes me to be my best, and makes sure I don't stick my foot in my mouth. A wonderful person, photographer, chemist, shark-lover, and keeper of my heart.
Strudel. Best dog I have ever owned or met, hands down. He is, literally, the perfect dachshund. Friendly, loving, quiet (except during plays), and I couldn't have asked for a better color. He is my love and I cherish him night and day.
Animals. MY ETERNAL LOVE IS NATURE. Well, I would say animals more than plants, though I tend to be allergic to both (aka: top of my list of things that make me unhappy). I have been intrigued by biology since I was old enough to look at a book and see the illustrations inside. Seriously, I will never not be fascinated by animals.
Vidyah Games/Pokemon. I grew up with games. They make me happy, they are an awesome blend of art, writing, and cinema with the topping of being engaging and interactive and personal. I have my favorites in all sorts of genres, and a few will always be dear to my heart.
Art. Maaan okay only sometimes it makes me happy. Other times it makes me hate myself. But mostly, it produces a sense of GREAT satisfaction.
My friends. I tend to have only a handful of really close friends, but I love them so much for sticking around. People come and go in my life but I am thankful to the ones who make me feel just as awesome as I do for them. I will never not love them.
Doggie Ear Flaps. You know that sound a floppy-eared dog makes when it shakes it's head? I LOVE THAT SOUND. It's so wonderful and silly and aaaugh I just love dogs okay.
Pretzels. My eternal snacking food. I can never and will never get enough of them!
Japan. I can't wait to go back.
Mat's Mom, Judy. I love visiting her. She's just the right amount of East Coast sarcastic and caring maternal figure. She has such a different perspective from my own mother that it's refreshing and always appreciated. She also makes very awesome quilts.
Snuggling and wriggling under blankets. SO WONDERFUL.
Getting sucked into ANY good media (and feeling all the feels because of it).
The night sky. I want to go someplace sometime where there is little light pollution, and the world is just... a glow. It's on my list to see the aurora borealis before I die.
