Bucky huffs as he watches colour rise on Steve’s face as he looks wide eyed at Bucky. Bucky steps back, pulling Steve closer with an arm around his waist.
“Iona, this is my best guy, Steve,” Bucky says, grinning wide as the blush deepens. “And Stevie, this is Iona, the reason we now have a pretty backyard.”
Steve clears his throat before speaking up, “Hello, Ma’am, it’s real nice to meet you.”
Iona smiles warmly up at Steve, raising a palm to gently pat his cheek. “Hello, Steve, call me Iona. I am so glad to finally meet you after hearing so much about you from Bucky.”
