Even pure MDMA can harm you if you take it too often-it can really mess with your serotonin. I love MDMA but its not harmless
I know that, but just like many other things that people do, it’s harmless in moderation. That’s why it’s always good to take 5HTP after (never during, though. you’ll get Serotonin Syndrome) you roll because it will replenish your serotonin levels. Also, some people are able to replenish their serotonin quickly— which is why some people get extremely depressed after rolling, while some don’t.Your serotonin receptors are not damaged if you only consume MDMA occasionally. And even if you do consume it often, it’s not so much how often you’re doing it, but rather the amount that you’re taking within a certain period of time. Most of the time, the average human being replenishes their serotonin to a ‘normal level’ simply by eating and sleeping regularly. On the other hand though, sometimes people notice negative side-effects after rolling because of what they either cut the drug with, or what they used as filler. With the amount of research chemicals going around currently, it’s very hard to tell if you’re getting 100% real shit— even if you use a marquis reagent test kit, there are ways to fool it. BK-MDMA and 4-Methylethcathinone are the most common thing being passed off to people lately, and though it mimics the effects of MDMA at first… that shit can actually kill you in the long run. Some of the RCs are very addictive, and you can actually overdose on them. The only major cases of death that involved consumption of MDMA weren’t completely caused by the drug itself— it was more or less what it was cut with, and the fact that the person taking the drug couldn’t handle it, they became too dehydrated/overheated, had a pre-existing medical condition, or a combination of all three. I mean, in other countries they still use MDMA for couples therapy, treating depression, and other mental disorders such as PTSD. It, to me, is about as harmful as taking an over the counter medication that a doctor says is safe.
