Truthfully I never imagined that one day when it came to trying on dresses that I would be able to consider having my arms out. I have always had big arms and for a long time they were a great source of grief. I remember finding every opportunity to layer, wear long sleeves and cardigans. I saw my fat arms as grotesque and I was convinced the world would see them as such. Many moons later, and still admittedly always a continuing journey, I am so grateful to be set free from the shackles of the idea that any part of me is unworthy or obscene. I love my soft arms and all that they do for me. I love that my mind doesn't fixate on them worrying about what they will look like. The only thing I thought about when dress shopping was about finding something that felt like me. I'm grateful that this experience came later in my life where I am free! • • • #fatbride #bigarms #plussizebride #happyfat #weddingdressshopping #weddingblog (at WED2B) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2zWfEmnmPU/?igshid=13obh6bopan7e
