🐶🐶PHOENIX UPDATE🐶🐶 After a whole weekend of worry and fearing the worst, Phoenix’s surgeon called us yesterday with great news...no cancer!!! ❤️😁 . He still has reservations about how or why this nodule appeared close to his larynx, and he wants to keep a close eye on this area in the future! Phoenix’s diagnosis is very uncommon. If you are new to our story, start at our 5/3 post & subsequent posts. 🤔 . For now, we are grateful for our friends and extended family on IG for their love, support, comments, and prayers. This Frenchie mom couldn’t have gone through this quite as gracefully without you!! Also to note if you have Nationwide Insurance for your Frenchie, PLEASE check your policy. We found out that they aren’t going to cover any of his procedures stating it’s all congenital. When I enrolled him, I was told surgeries, emergencies, etc., were covered. How disheartening to think we were covered during our time of need only to find out that we are paying for all of his medical bills. This was sudden onset shortness of breath caused by environmental allergens, which almost killed him, but they said because he is a frenchie known for nare and soft palette issues, he isn’t covered!
