This #happyhydrangea has a great story and a happy ending. We had a gentleman call our shop today to ask why his flowers that he ordered today were not going to be delivered until Monday. After asking a few investigative questions we found out he did not place the order on our website as he thought he did, but he placed the order on a website called Ava's Flowers which is not a brick and mortar store and their call center is located on the other side of the world. When placing orders in websites like these they will charge hidden fees and in-turn keep a percentage of the total for themselves. For every dollar spent on one of these websites, the local shops who fill those orders will only receive 50 cents. We assured him we would deliver a special arrangement today and inform him personally once it was delivered. When ordering flowers, make sure you are talking or ordering from professional, brick and mortar store. We would be honored if that store of choice is ours, but regardless of who you choose to deliver your sentiments, by ordering from a local shop you will get more for your money, you won't have to pay exorbitant hidden fees and you will support your neighbors and your community.
