This is the Summer Station ID of GMA in 2015. The Summer Station ID was themed “Kulayan Natin’ Ang Summer”.
The Summer Station ID theme song is a dubstep and is written, produced and composed by Koji Kondo and performed by Alan Walker. Although, The Summer Station ID theme song is instrumental. But the origin of the Summer Station ID theme song was used in the trailer of the 2014 video game Forza Horizon 3.
The Summer Station ID contains some James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Victor Silayan, Julia Montes, Mikael Daez, Adrian Alandy, Wendell Ramos, Joross Gamboa, Jason Abalos, Heart Evangelista, Christian Vasquez, Richard Gutierrez, Gladys Reyes and twin sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Luckily, Former TV5 stars Gerald Anderson and Jessie Mendiola appeared as well. Somehow, The Summer Station ID includes cameos like Frozen director Steven Spielberg, Dr. Eggman from the Sonic the Hedgehog series and actors like Freddy Highmore, Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise, Jason Statham, Keanu Reeves and Will Ferrell. Plus, The Summer Station ID features DJ Willie Revillame who was playing the piano at the very end. But the Summer Station ID also features Blue the Puppy, who is the Mascot of TV5 and the character of Disney’s Blues Clues before the bass drops. Eventually, That became a meme when Blue the Puppy starts the music, Blue says “Drop the Bass”. But this was only used during the first sign on of TV5 which was in May 5, 2005. Eventually, When the music starts, DJ Willie Revillame says “Let’s Party!” which was only used during the next generation of TV5 in May 5, 2015 which celebrates the 10th anniversary of TV5 and the new slogan “Happy Ka Dito!” with the theme song performed by Ogie Alcasid (feat. Gloc-9, Daft Punk, Fatman Scoop and Adam Young of Owl City) and the new 2015 Station ID featuring the TV5 crew members having a good time around the world.
However, James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Victor Silayan, Julia Montes, Mikael Daez, Adrian Alandy, Wendell Ramos, Joross Gamboa, Jason Abalos, Heart Evangelista, Christian Vasquez, Richard Gutierrez, Gladys Reyes and twin sisters Anne Curtis and Jasmine Curtis-Smith were permanent GMA stars at the moment. Although, Jessie Mendiola also made an unexpected return after breaking up with her boyfriend Rocco Nacino. But a new GMA star Gerald Anderson was seen after forcing to leave TV5 and breaking up with Kim Chiu in 2015. Somehow, The 2015 Summer Station ID of TV5 which is “Happy Ka Dito This Summer!” didn’t have any TV5 crew members having fun in the sun. Instead, The Summer Station ID features Hot Wheels cars and explosions to make a summer a blast.
This is also the only Summer Station ID of GMA that is instrumental.
