I was on my way home bandang Cubao nung may nakasabay akong isang lalaking naka-shades at may dalang isang mahabang metal rod, which I thought was his cane. Pababa din siya ng hagdan and rinig na rinig yung pag hampas nung metal na yun sa bawat hakbang niya pababa. I didn't mind it dahil sa pagmamadali ko. Nung nalampasan ko siya, dun ko lang nareaize na bulag pala yung mamang yun. I turn around to look at him again and I saw him with no one.
I rode the MRT to Guadalupe kasi dun ako sasakay ng jeep paPembo. Dun ako sa tabi ng driver sasakay. There was a man in front of me trying to get in first. So nagstop muna ko. Then nung pagkaupo niya I saw him wearing shades and holding a long metal rod the same as the man I saw before. He was also blind. The driver pulled over along West Rembo then I assisted him as he went down.
The time I went back to the jeep, I started thinking about these two men I saw at the same night. Obviously, they are both blind. And what really amazed me is that they both probably are coming home from work. Another is that they are ALONE! Paano sila nakakasigurado na makakapunta sila saanman at makakauwi sa bahay nila ng safe at maayos? And I thought, that is God's gift to them. :')
There is a reason why God didn't bless them the same eyes we have right now, and that is something we wouldn't know. They may not see the things we can, but God gave them the best sight no one could ever have! Ang sabi ko na lang, "They are still better and great than us who sees, kasi tayong mga nakakakita hinding hindi makakayanang umuwi ng naka-blind fold." :D
And before I went to sleep, I realized na hindi lang basta basta coincidence yung makakita ako ng dalawang bulag that night, but it's a message from God na tayong mga normal na tao, should be productive and responsible not only in our personal lives but also to fulfill the purpose why God made us. :)
