Hi Pudding Brain. The weather here is hot and humid. Despite the heat I have a big tea habit. I don't drink coffee at all but I have one of those tea brewing kettles that brews it for you. Do you like tea or coffee? Is the coffee on campus any good or do you have to go offsite? What are you plans for Christmas Day? Love SS

Heeey again :) Sorry to hear about your weather over there.  At least I’m not fond of hot weather in general - I prefer the cold.  What about you?  Here it’s quite rainy and cold.  It’s rained almost everyday.  Entering finals week, I definitely have been drinking coffee about three times a day but I do like a good milky black tea or plain herbal tea. Usually I have a lemon and ginger brand tea - normal bagged tea, not loose leaves.  Loose leaves seem too much work for me but everyone says they had good flavor…have you tried it?  What flavors do you like?

Coffee on campus is terrible quite frankly - they claim that it is Starbucks brand but…idk it doesn’t taste that good.  Since I had about 1000 food points (almost equal to $1000),  I usually get coffee on campus to save money but I must prefer off campus coffee, Starbucks is the popular brand here in California.  But there are a few local places I don’t mind, when I have a car available to me.  The city my university is in is surprisingly low in local eateries in walking distance.  

I have no plans for Christmas for now - mainly I have a big week of finals ahead of me.  But usually I stay home with my parents and put up the tree.  I’ve bought gifts for all my friends and family members already and sent them out. How about you - I assume you celebrate?
