It took Henry a second to register what he said {What?..Oh shit.}  He got in a position to defend, but fuck if he knew what was to happen. Testing

One minute, heisting as usual, the next minute, rousing himself from unconsciousness. Jacket couldn’t even remember what had knocked him out, not in the least; though he could tell by the thick drowsiness fogging over his mind and body that he must have been drugged somehow.

It didn’t take him long to at least piece together that he was in the back of a moving vehicle. And that he still had his mask on, fortunately. Yet, he wasn’t bound at all; as he reached dazedly toward the door, he found that his wrists were free to do so. More of his senses were gradually beginning to clear, allowing him to see that he was alone in the back seat, and there was a divider between him and the front seats, akin to a taxi or police car.

Apparently awake just enough to decide he wanted to throw himself out of the car, Jacket scrambled drowsily for the door lock and handle, but neither - and in turn neither the door itself - would move.

This one didn’t feel right. A twist in her stomach sure as hell  made sure. What did he want? Why was he here? There were a lot of questions. Sam’s throat dried quick before getting anything out in a full sentence.

Those were the only words she could muster up at that point. And probably was good enough. Why did the weird ones always have to come through.
