Honest opinion of each other, favorite genre of music

Thana's a sweetheart. Sometimes she confuses me, and sometimes she is incredibly uncooperative (mostly, I think, because she's so...honorable.)

You speak as though it is a bad thing. I am what you have made me.

Yeah yeah. I know. :|

My writer enjoys torturing me, I think.

Pain makes you stronger! And look! You've built relationships because of it!

...........moooooving on now. My taste in music changes on pretty much a daily basis, but when it comes right down to it, there are a few bands I can listen to almost any day. Chevelle, Muse, Massive Attack, Linkin Park and Loreena Mckennitt. Beyond that, it really depends on my mood.

I have found that I prefer music of an instrumental nature. A type of music known as electronica is also intriguing. I do not like music with a great deal of 'screaming'. I find that it grates upon my nerves.

:: mini ficlet drabble thing for hardlyaprime :) ::

The first time they kiss isn't precisely an accident, though they both like to pretend it is. It started simply enough. A word here, a laugh there...innocent touches to the shoulder or arm. A hug every once and a while. 

The first time a touch lingers, they both blush and pull away, laughing it off and continuing their daily lives as if nothing had happened. 

When her master dies, she falls inside herself, a broken shell of a person, smiling on the outside. It took her time to cry, but quiet words from him draw out the tears she needed to let go of.

That's the first time she spends the night in his bed, curled up into a ball. His arms hold her all night long, and the next day it's like nothing has changed.

When they kiss, it's a soft brush of the lips, a blush spreading across their cheeks. It's simple. Innocent. 

The second kiss lasts longer. They still pretend its an accident, even though they both know it isn't true. 

This time, she kisses him. Almost shyly. She's never kissed anyone else before, but the way his lips quirk just so whenever he smiles, and the way he nibbles on his lower lip when he's thinking...she can't stop watching him.  And now she's kissing him. Slowly at first. His lips are soft, and he's letting out a sound of surprise, his eyes going wide at the contact.

She pleads with him with her eyes. She needs this. She needs to feel wanted. Loved. After everything she lost, he's the only one who she feels this connection to. 

 The kiss ends, and she's left breathless, her lips tingling from the touch. She wants more, but already he's stuttering, blushing, and she pulls away, fading back into the shadows. Embarrassed. It was a mistake...one she cannot forget. One she cannot make again.

But she wants to kiss him again. Something inside her grows warm whenever she thinks of him, a curious twisting in her gut that sends tingles running through her body. She watches him when he grows happy, spending time with someone he loves. She knows that what she wants cannot be. She knows...but she still loves. Still wants.

And when they kiss again, it's because they want to. It's their secret.
