I've recently acquired a lowkey fixation on what link, if any, might be between the Of Tarths and the Targaryens. Brienne's hair and eyes seem to be pretty obvious hints that there is one, IMO. Which fics out there make that connection? I'd love to read others' conceptions of what significance such a link might have for Brienne, for Daenerys, for Westeros. Thanks!

Happy Finnish Independence Day!

It is funny how such a big day in Finland completely goes by unnoticed here (understandably, of course). I registered it only as I was doing some paperwork at work that required me to enter the date several times - stopping with ‘Hmmm, this date actually means something…’

It’s also the date of my parents’ wedding anniversary - which my mother spent alone this year, my father having died earlier in the year… 😔
