Fun rando concept of Half-life X Angel Gabby sorta Au thingie i guess that MAY be inspired since i've been playing abiotic factor aLOT! She is a black mesa mascot, one of a few i think, for the science teams, the one in gordon's suit has her as a genuine living artificially made intelligence that's projected by hologram appearance is taken from the black mesa science team's mascot, her personality is very timid of scary things as the scientists in the first game are aswell as an aversion to violence however is obligated to help the one in 'her' suit stay alive and so adapats(aswell as grows) to keep gordon alive to the point by hf2 she is crying joy meeting him again.

If i had to choose where Zaggy would be, probably in adrian shepards knock off hev army suit. And camiel probably a apeture science related one since black mesa and aperture had connections and either THEY stole the base model programming from black mesa or they from aperture.

Gabby sits abruptly after being awoken by Alyx much to fast surprising Alyx and Francine. Gabby seems to be 'processing' as her mind is trying to make her aware of her surroundings currently, struggling to at least.

With concern both Francine and Alyx ask how Gabby feels, her answer? She let out a bit surprising of a way to put it for them on how she feels at the moment.

*authors note: it'll be in parts and keep going til i'm satisfied i guess. I like where i'm heading with this though, gotta have some rough patches to make a story that much sweeter later i think.

[During Half-Life 2: Episode 2, a continuation of last events.]

[Warning this has 'insides' of a body, as well as mild nudity though nothing to really see.]

After the Gordon was told to get the antlion larva 'extract' with Alyx and Francine to assist we see them after having gotten the extract as well as meet up deeper with the Vortigaunts brethen as well as 2 rebels.

The 2 rebels talk about how riled up the antlion den has become and ask for Alyx and Gordon to set up defenses, before doing so Gordon was instructed by the Vortigaunt to place the still taken out CPU containing the Xen Crystal to the bed so they can begin the ritual and return Gabby to them.

The ritual has begun with the voriguants becoming attuned with the vortessense after consuming the extract and begin helping what lies inside the crystal take form. Their purpose of their connection are merely to be guides as they help Gabby to form herself. All the while Gordon, Alyx, even Francine hold of the Antlion nests pouring through with thier two rebel allies and their makeshift turrets as well as plenty of ammunition.

To form ones self takes time, especially one who had no real physical body prior but the vortigaunts are thankfully skilled in their current guidance as they will the crystal foward to grow mass starting with a 'heart' formed from the crystals center, next was the mass of flesh making up organs and after the bones to protect said organs as the brain forms now. She then gains muscle as well as nerves that currently burn from exposure to the air but soon are quelled by the coming of skin as well as fur to keep said skin from the cold.

The main process is complete and all that is left to happen is for her to awaken.

In a endless dream of nothing She stirs and starts to 'feel' as new sensations form she has never felt her eyes open.

The Vortigaunts quickly asses her and her health as well as instruct her on how to breath with her newly formed lungs, new sensations come to her, mostly painful related as her body was still quite 'raw' as well as having sat up to fast for the first time in 'life', she was alive moreso then she ever was before and her first experience of it is quite overwhelming. Gordon is the first of the Group to notice and soon tries to finish the coming antlions off more fiercely to go to see her now once everyone was safe.

After the already nearly ending fight Gordon calms as best he could to approach, most everyone else gave a bit of space between the two in the center.

Gabby felt hesitant, worried, scared, and happy all at once.

But out of all of them she was overcome with joy to be able to see him again.

The 'nude' rabbit, along with her blanket now truly hugged Gordon, for gordon however it felt no different, that same 'warmth' he received prior in his new suits upgrades were something he already enjoyed when she hugged him before, digital or not it was his Gabby's hug he felt, that he knew for certain. And with this hug returns one back just as warm.

Gabby was back, and though changed forever was glad to be alive.

Got two more today this first up here is Gabby and her first time ever trying to 'help' gordon by distracting enemies as she was only a projection afterall and so was impervious to any form of harm, however due to her being as timid as a half life 1 scientist it was a horrible experience, after this she felt guilty for not able to to help the way she suggested out of fear however as their bond grew during events of the first game she managed to gain the courage to eventually help like this.

This image above HERE now is in the future during half life two where gordon had made it to another rebel base which once gabby saw how haggard gordon seemed(she didn't know it was practically two days of being up for gordon between games in his eyes.). Once she mentioned this aloud a vortigaunt suggested kindly about recuperating in a special healing hot tub pools that they managed to capture and harvest for use for the bases facilities and health.

Gordon was very much non hesitant to quickly shed the suit and once nude got into the tub.

Gabby was ingrained with science and usually wouldn't have been bothered by someone just getting nude or anything but the context and her 'feelings' made her for more than just 'embarresed' and shut her eyes. (Even though she is making this complaint Gabby always has a choice to simply NOT see by shutting her projection off for the moment but seems to be choosing not too and instead opting to 'look away' with gordon none the wiser she can do this.)

To white forest.

During Half-Life 2: Episode 2, after Gabby's made physical revival the group had to get back on track to white forest and were supplied with a rather nice car Alyx commented excitedly on, it had been a troubling task getting back up to the surface and Gabby seemed rather down, Alyx forgoed her shotgun she was gonna call out having and decided to ride the back to let gabby rest up front.

After a farewell to the vortigaunts and the to rebels they drove off to their next goal.

During the ride Gabby had been ahold to herself and much more silent than usual, Gordon kept his eyes on the road forward though felt the current silent air rather concerning.

Finally she says something and captures gordon's full attention wondering if what she would say would explain her prior unusual silence.

Before Gabby could say further Alyx shouted of a trap as a loud sound not a moment after was heard.

Gabby awakens confused and scared, it seems she was knocked out, her face's right side stung as the voice she heard awoken her was Alyx's.

*author's note. This is gonna be a comic, i have promised a kiss and i WILL deliver, i just need it too 'fit' if that makes sense. Also wow i've made the dramatic wake up face twice, well this time i went extra with the strain and distress, i think i did well. Also i suppose this IS another transformation in a way visually for her so guess it's a trend :P

I do not know exACTLY how much i'mma build up with, i dont think a lot, well see.

Thank you for helping with Hare-Life by the way, all the little asks as well as just recieving attention really has helped me out, the asks especially since they REALLY made me think how stuff 'works' in this au.

It's as much your works as it is mine, i very much encourage anyone and everyone to do your own thing, i allow use of mine even for anything you want to do with these stroies. I only want others to discover they CAN create. Take care yall.

[During Half-Life 2: Episode 2]

(Sidenote: Read thealt for the dialogue if it is to difficult to read, i apoligize for my handwritting being so chaotic.)

Gabby had alerted the two of the hunter just before either could get hurt, before they could fully retreat gordon pushes alyx out of the way getting tackled by the beast, Gabby screamed in fright seeing him pushed into the alley way, the hunter stabbed with its fangs at its 'mouth' to gordon's chest, the suits center got pierced by the circuitry and metal kept it becoming fatal, Gordon could hear a distressed call of pain from Gabby sending him into a adrenaline of fear for her and stabs the hunter's with his crowbow's sharp bottom multiple times in an attempt to make the creature get off him. Thankfully a vortigaunt comes in and with a clear opening to it's expose sides and back makes a hole inside it taking it down for good. The hunter lurched in pain backwards out the cramped alleyway into the open weakly trying to keep moving but falters and finally falls over dead.

Alyx rushed over and found gordon alive as well as mostly unharmed, though the same could not be said for Gabby. The full cpu of Gabby barley conntected inside the suit no longer out in the open in gordons hand with what remaining battery it had running out and a glumly smiling Gabby trying to assure it was ok and that it was a good thing she was the one hurt and not gordon as she flickers weaker til she turns off after a bit.

Gordon was shaken with more rage then he ever felt as well as grief now at his lost friend. Alyx knows how she'd feel if Francine in her gadget were too be lost and felt distressed seeing gabby fade away. She saw the damage and knew this was not a possible fix, and for sure she nor gordon would EVER think of simply replacing Gabby with a different one. With a desperate plea she asked the present vortigaunt for help.

The vortigaunt was calm as it assured them both he and his brethen could help, but only if the two braved an antlions nest with him to recieve the 'extract' for his brothers and himself to use in a ritual that would save Gabby, it came with the caveat of Gabby being changed forever as a cost.

It's wss a no brainer what the two would do next.

Them and francine would help gabby come back to them or die trying.

*Authors note, i have recently added the frans. Francine is paired with Alyx inside her hacking multitool gadget she uses in the game.

Francis is with Kleiner as a digital assistant back at black mesa to now currently in the resistance living with Kleiner still, Francis is esspecially a good helper when it came to therapy sessions with what rescued gabbys were found during blueshift saved by barney in xen.

I believe francois may be with Russell, as what role exactly I'm unsure but i think its fitting nonetheless.

Adding on, I FINALLY came up with something, meet black mesas one(and only) security team living intelligence Zaggy! All black Mesa gaurds were issued a 'Zaggy' by means of a tablet as the security team had no HEV suit equivalent to have him housed inside, this however was at LEAST supposed to be--the case but since the security team's sort of maintenence was a rather 'small' concern of being kept, moreso all the busy work since no real external dangers have EVER popped up there was only ONE Zaggy made as a sort of assistant to what gaurds that had questions, concerns ans or complaints--eSPECIALLY the complaints, as annoyed as Zaggy was he was equally annoyed with how black mesa handled 'his' security teams budgets and did try and make an effort for them, he knew the names of them all and they him, however during the resonanse cascade he got left behind since he only WAS just a--projection anyways and couldn't physically assist anyone. That's when a random soldier Zaggy hadn't expected had come in and 'dispatched' a poor turned security member that had been turned by a headcrab. And so with wanting to help his team as well as any innocent scientists on his way he made--a deal with this soldier after detecting familiar hardware trying to connect to black mesa's servers that currently were down, the only ones available being LAN networks and or radios. Zaggy would assist the soldier and help navigate and unlock any entry ways needed to go if they inserted him--inside this so called 'PCV' suit knock off via a cable link to his suits power charger. Adrian nor Zaggy had a clue of the Armies objectives till deeper in later, Adrian having already saved many innocent scientists and gaurds had become disillusioned meanwhile zaggy became quiet for awhile before--returning to speak again later once trust is regained with Adrian.
