One of my favorite me-mades today! This is the #haremcoverall from @brindilletwig, hacked with a snap band at the legs. I put in facings, and then join the ankles at the cuffs, so we still have to slide his feet in and out at diaper changes, but it’s still pretty easy and looks good! I think this is my favorite kid pattern right now - it’s adorable, and lasts longer because as they grow into the dropped crotch, it just looks like a jumpsuit. Main fabric is from an old shirt of mine and the sleeves/cuffs are a remnant of a Riley Blake knit. It’s pretty lightweight, so it’s great for spring ☺️. #memademay #handmadebabyclothes #upcycle #sewing

I accidentally dressed us both in me-mades today (pic of mine coming later!). Love that I’ve made enough now that it’s just part of his wardrobe, nothing special. This is the @brindilletwig #haremcoverall with a snap band hack on the legs to make diaper changes easier. Fabric is an upcycled shirt (are you sending a theme with his outfits...? I’ve now made 3 of these and have no plans to stop. His whole wardrobe is gonna be these rompers, guys. The main body is an old shirt, sleeves and cuffs are some Riley Blake I had laying around (they’re orange elephants😊). I graded the legs up a few sizes to account for the snap bands and it fits just about perfect! #haremcoverall #brindleandtwig #sewing #sewingforbaby #handmadebaby
