R - How old were you (if u remember) when you got Your Fist Zelda Game?

My first zelda experience was when I was six years old and at my neighbors house and we were playing one of the megaman games. His older brother brought a bunch of games into the living room and dumped them on the coffee table and A Link to the Past was in there. We did even sleep that night, we just played ALTTP all night and into the next day until we beat it. 

My first game that I GOT was Ocarina of Time. For the next year and a half I always played games at my friend’s house and for christmas in ‘98 I asked for a N64 and OOT. That’s all I asked for (and an electric toothbrush). My mom also printed out the entire OOT walkthrough on our printer and wrapped that in its own box. Iiiiit was pretty awesome.
