Anon, which TWST AU are you asking?

I want not expecting to get this ask but no worries~

Overall, many are in hiatus mostly because I want to revamp it, some are just funky headcanons.

So, these are some that I could recall:

Mafia AU, Hybrid AU & Royalty AU

I'm lumping these three because I have similar problems: handling others' OC in an OC centric AU. While I don't mind writing about other people's OCs, I am cautious. It is different from canon character with an understandable progression throughout the story (example: Canon Azul compare to OPT Azul), when writing other OCs, I do aim to make them static, unless there's a potential of a character development. Especially after a bad experience in the past, I become afraid in touching with other people OCs even after getting permission from the owner. Unless it is someone I trust, aka very close mutuals.

For Royalty AU, it is just really for funzies. There aren't really a future plan other than one-shot collections. I think I had a plan to make it based on 'I Hear a Symphony' by Cody Fry, but other than that, nothing really.

For Mafia AU, I really want to revamp it, but the hardest part is really tracking all the OCs and finding who left the fandom and who hasn't. I do want to come back to this one day and instead of a collection of one shot, it'll be a Bungou Stray Dog AU or something. I don't have further plan just yet.

Hybrid AU is probably the most heartbreaking because I was so excited back then but then never make it because communication error. If I ever continue this, I really want to make it into a game instead. I always knew hubris will be my downfall.

Project Sekai AU, Daemon AU, Vanguard AU & MDZS AU

Lumping these four together because, technically, they're finished.

For Project Sekai AU, I don't really have plans in making a full fic for it, mostly just headcanons. I do want to make a soft reboot and rearrange some of the group, especially after Episode 7. If I do ended up making something more out of this, it would be just  one shots.

I don't have further plan for Daemon AU. It is really just assigning animal companions for the kiddos. I don't really want to make a His Dark Material/Golden Compass AU just yet.

Same as Cardfight Vanguard AU. While there was a brief plan to write a fanfic for it, I was held back because o the mere thought of making the card fights. I do need to update both this and Daemon AU.

For MDZS AU, I did have plans to write something about it, but haven't get around it. Maybe after rewatching the donghua and the live action I can make something.

Evillious Chronicles AU & Kingdom Hearts AU

These two are the AUs that I actively still engage in behind the scene.

Evillious Chronicles AU is probably the one I have most trouble with and actively think about a lot. Very time I did something, mothy will come in and ruin it. I'm just mostly assigning the characters and seeing how many reincarnation are there. Once I have at least the base without any conflicting cast, I can update it.

Kingdom Hearts AU started as a gift fic for the close mutual of mine and they help me many times in the making behind the scene. I am in a process of rewriting the early chapters and the difference are very telling. Once the rewrite are done, I'll be writing a new chapter.

I'm pretty sure I have more AUs but can't remember. If you want to know more specific AU let me know, anon~

Long Live the King - Harmonious Kingdom (TWST OC Royalty AU)

It’s always a young prince and princess’ dream to be kings and queens one day. Jonah was one of those prince. Looking down at his small kingdom by the sea, he was often being reminded that one day he would inherit it and he would have to protect it.

Jonah took the advice by heart which is why he didn’t join the war when the horn was blown. Despite worrying about his father and friends in the army, Jonah knows that he’s a precious asset to the kingdom. Losing him would cost the fall of a heirless kingdom.

And he was proven right. When the army came back, less than before, bringing his father’s corpse, Jonah knew his childhood was done. Preparations went down quickly, for his father’s royal funeral, for his coronation, for the restoration after the war. The economy was shambled, diplomacy needed to be done, ignoring every snickers because ‘can a child really rule them all’?

It wasn’t like he had a choice. He had to stand up for his kingdom or else his legacy will die with him.

It’s always a young prince and princess’ dream to be kings and queens one day. Jonah was lucky to be one of the princes whose dream came true, even if the timing came to early.

The throne felt too big for him. The crown felt too heavy for his head. But he still raised his chin, looking down at his people who looks at him with the highest expectation. 

For he is Prince King Jonah Argentum of Radiant Haven. Long live the king!

‘I Used Hear a Simple Song’ - Harmonious Kingdom (TWST OC Royalty AU)

Every story needs a beginning.

Well, I can't tell you how our story started.

The small kingdom by the sea had been standing for at least a century. A small pit stops for merchants and lost sailors, attracting them like the light from a lighthouse and giving them a safe haven during their travel. Huh, I guess that's why it's called 'Radiant Haven'.

The universe shifted its attention to the medic wing in the early morning. No one was currently staying in the wing, but a healer is always on duty.

Cynthia was on her table, humming a simple song as she crush some of the herbs for a fresh healing ointment. Today was sword training for the prince after all. Knowing him, he'll get at least a scratch on the cheek. Only because she's the heiress, that doesn't mean she can slack off on the job.

The door to the medic wings was opened and followed by a yawn. Cynthia sighed fondly as she turned to look at the newcomer. "Good morning, Saburou."

"Morning," he grumbled, falling face-first onto one of the beds close to her workspace, "what day is it?"

"It's training day," Cynthia giggled, wiping he hands on her apron and approaching her older cousin. "Shouldn't you be at the training yard by now? Can't have his highness waiting."

"That prince's probably still in his bed," he said, shifting himself so he was laying on his side to look at her, "I've been tutoring him for a long time to know."

Cynthia chuckled. "You know that bed is for the injured patient, right?"

Saburou rolled his eyes before closing them. "I work here too. Cut me some slacks."

Cynthia sighed. "Alright. Five minutes and then you're gone." Saburou hummed in agreement and Cynthia went back to her task in hand, humming the familiar melody of her childhood, back in the land where the sun always shines bright.

Glancing back, she could see a small smile on Saburou's which made her smile as well. It was a rare sight to see his serious cousin smile, but somehow, her singing always left him unguarded. If she let him sleep for more than five minutes, she didn't say anything. She would let him sleep until a servant came to tell that the prince was ready for today's lesson.

‘Now in Its Place is Something New’ - Harmonious Kingdom (TWST OC Royalty AU)

The small kingdom of Radiant Haven was ruled by the benevolent King Benjamin and Queen Dinah. They had one son who would take the throne when his father retire or something unfortunate happens. The death of the queen was one of the unfortunate thing that happened to the royal family. But the world kept moving, the royal family kept standing.

But without the queen, her former advisor named Hiroto Whitlock, the father of Freya Hoshino found himself in a dilemma.

"There's always a position in my court, Hiroto," the king said from his throne, "you were Dinah's best friend and a family member by now."

"I'm honored, Your Majesty," her father said, smiling despite bowing down, "I will consider you gracious offer. But, forgive me, as you can see, I'm not getting younger like when I first serve you."

"Yes, I understand," the king said, nodding at him, "I am forever grateful for all you've done for our kingdom."

"Thank you, Your Majesty," her father raised up, "But I have another reason for being here

"Of course," the king chuckled warmly, "it's about young Freya, is it?"

Freya kept her head down, shifting her feet on her spot and playing with the front end of her top nervously.

"Yes." Her father nodded and stepped back for a bit and Freya became awfully aware that everyone was watching at her. She didn't like this feeling of being the main attention, especially from the king and prince themselves. "My daughter here has come of age. When my times has come, she will take my place. She's a brilliant child and I believe she will be the kingdom's wisest voice."

"I don't doubt that. Young Freya, may I look at you?"

Gulping, Freya dared to lift her head. Despite the warm smile, she couldn't help but to feel nervous to the point she couldn't speak. It wasn't that she just couldn't but the anxiety bubbling in her chest never fail to shut her down.

"There's no need to be afraid, young Freya," the king softened his gaze upon her, "I've heard a lot from your father about you. I do not doubt you'll fit right in."

Freya could only curtsied. This was very new for her. She had been to a ball or accompany her father in his works around the castle. But actually earning a position as an advisor? She could barely advise herself to practice her speech in front of mirror, now her father wants here to stand next to the king?

She saw the prince leaned closer to his father, whispering as the older man nodded. Freya gulped. Did she do something wrong by not saying anything? Oh, stars! She would be kicked out from the kingdom! Her father would be fired! And she barely did anything here!

Calm down. Deep breath. Let it out.

"UM-!" she squeaked. The two royals turned to her, once again making her feel so out of her comfort zone. "F-Forgive me, Your Majesty!" She curtsied low. "I-I would be honored to work with you!"

The king laughed. "Calm yourself, young Freya. You won't be working for me."

"EH?" Freya looked up. The king didn't seemed to be upset at all.

"To become a king's advisor in such a young age would have been a huge change in your live, young Freya. Even I couldn't imagine the possible responsibility you would have. So, why don't you start one step at a time?"

"One step... what?"

The king and the prince traded an almost mischievously glance before turning back to her. "We have to start from somewhere. Thus, you can start with my son."

Freya turned to the prince. He was grinning at her, so bright that Freya might need an eye-check. "The..." she turned back to the king, "prince... Your Majesty?"

"My son would lead the kingdom one day," the king reached to ran a hand on his son's hair to which the prince leaned into the touch, "just like your succeeding your father. He's going to need all the wise words he can get."

She glanced at the prince, still having the bright smile. Her, apparent, first job.

Calm down. Deep breath. Let it out.

She gave the tiniest smile in return.

‘That Was Until You Came Along’ - Harmonious Kingdom (TWST OC Royalty AU)

Radiant Haven is just a small kingdom by the sea, thus there aren't many nobles living there. Even with its connection from various bigger neighbors, like its size, the power of this Kingdom is still small.

But even a small kingdom like this still needs protection, thus it needs the most loyal knights, for those who are willing to dedicate themselves until the last drop of their blood to protect and serve their homeland. It's a calling for those who live across the land.

And it's a calling for one herbalist daughter who just climbed down from her horse.

Astrid had been living in this kingdom for her entire life but had never been to the castle this close. The tall cobblestone towers with their flag lazily fluttering in the breeze were magnificent compared to her small cottage and herb garden. She had never felt so small, just a little girl in her raggedy old dress, dirty white bandana on her head, and rusty sword strapped on her back.

"Hello there!" Astrid turned toward the voice. A young man with long brunette hair and rosy red eyes walked toward her with a smile. Astrid noticed his fancy cape and the emblem on his chest. He must've been someone from the higher up, more important than her. She wondered if she could be as important as he was in the future. "You sightseeing?"

Astrid unconsciously straightened her back. "No," she squeaked. She cleared her throat, making her voice deeper and serious despite she felt like a wreck right now. "I want to meet with the captain or commander." She paused for a bit before picking her skirt and curtsey, adding, "Sir."

The man laughed. "There's no need to bow. I'm not the prince, don't worry." He put a hand on his chest. "I'm Sergeant Helios Asterope, by the way."

"I-I'm-!" Astrid curtsey again. "I'm Astrid Lancaster, uh, Sir."

"So, why are you looking for the commander?" Helios asked.

"I..." Astrid's grips on her skirt tightened. She took a deep breath before letting it out through her lips. "I want to become a knight."

Helios hummed. "And why is that?"

"I..." The sword on her back suddenly become heavy. But she wouldn't flatter, not when she had arrived here. "I want to protect my home. I've lived here all my life and I'm willing to do anything to keep it safe."

"Have you ever learned how to fight?" he asked again.

"Yes. I can use a sword." Those days of training with her father and slashing the nearby scarecrow flashed in her head. "But I want to learn more." She looked straight into his eyes, determination flashed in her eyes. "I want to do this. Just give me a chance. I promise I'll do my best."

Helios hummed again as he looked at her from top to bottom. Astrid once again felt very small, like a child in front of her judging parents. "Right," he said and clapped his hands once. "Right! I'll take you to the commander."

Astrid gasped. "Really?"

Helios nodded, almost excitedly. "The kingdom is always welcome those who are loyal and has determined spirit, like you. Everyone will thank you for your selfless service. I have no doubt you'll be a great knight."

Astrid's lips were threatened to pull into a smile. "Really?"

Helios grinned. "Really, really." He waved once and a knight came toward them. "And you lead Miss Astrid's horse to the stable? I'll take it from here." A nod of confirmation was given from the knight before he walked off, pulling her horse with her. Helios smiled an inviting smile. "Shall we?"

Astrid nodded excitedly. "Yes!" Before pausing and curtsey again. "Thank you, Sir Asterope."

Helios laughed at her. "Told you there's no need to curtsey. Just relax. We'll be comrades after this."

Astrid nodded but still walked with her back straight and chin up, curled up fists on her side as she followed the sergeant into the castle.

Helios was right. It was like their calling to be comrades.

The commander accepted Astrid and training would start the next day. And one day, the sergeant would approach her and invite her into his special troop.
