HP 1 Reading Reflections Pt. 2

Reading HP 1 and my conclusions and impressions so far:

Ron fell in love with Harry at first sight. Harry noticed Ron and bought them a cart full of treats on the train. Hello Cinderella-Ron! He was smitten

Reading all of Dumbledore’s lines in Jude Law’s voice adds a nuance that I didn’t have in the other books I read

Ron and Hermione=Siblings; Ron’s bae is Harry.

HP 1 Reading Reflections

Reading HP 1 and got to the wingardium levisoa bit and how speech pronunciation precision is very important. A wizard/witch with a speech disorder wouldn’t be very successful then. I wonder if there would be a cure for such a disability or would they be relegated to a lower class among their kind ala squibs.

Also, I don’t get the Ron/Hermione ship. He’s awful to her so far.

Disclaimer: I am a Hermione/Harry shipper but I’m trying to read HP 1 with an open mind: catching up on the assigned Children’s Literature readings for a class I didn’t take but was taught by the chair of my thesis committee
