Never mind that this is a table she knows she isn't supposed to be on, if Harper sees a box she must claim it.

Had to quarantine away from Harper for 2 weeks. Now she will not leave me alone.

Her usual chair is taken over by papers. In usual cat fashion, Harper found a new place to watch over me (sleep) as I study.

Harper was very helpful while I was working on my final.

I had to quarantine away from my cat. This is what I came home too.

7 years ago I went to a shelter looking for a cat. I was wearing a knit wool dress (the one Harper has claimed in the picture above). Harper was asleep in her cage, but they took her out and put her in the playroom with me. She took a minute to wake up and claim the space, but soon enough she felt comfortable. She jumped up on my lap, and started to knead and purr. She turned around, laid down and started to fall asleep. That was how I was claimed. Humans don't pick cats, cats pick their humans. Or at least they pick their clothing. To this day, Harper still adores that knit wool dress.
