I’m not sure, but I think time and also if you disconnect it a lot without properly ejecting it Maybe if you take it to a computer shop they might be able to look at it?

I had a 32 GB hard drive fail a week after I got it, sometimes its because it was shaken slightly or even dropped. There is a small chance you can recover some of the data with some cool tools.

i used to travel a lot with mine so maybe that's it?

and josh is supposed to come over this week to look at it lol.
