hello everyone,

just a little personal life update. i have decided to give tumblr a break for a bit. don't know for how long, could be a week, could be longer. i need to pay attention to myself and my mental health, which in all honesty has not been the greatest. i'm going to try and do some writing but not out of any sort of self-imposed obligations but because i want to.

a moment of transparency,

heat waves is a hard fic. i started it last year with no real intention of completing it. i didn't think it would get any traction at all because i hadn't been getting a lot; but holy crap it took off and i am so happy for that!! i've written a second chapter and it has fallen deep into oc's anxiety. perhaps this is a result of my own anxiety over the past few months. it's a love letter to hoseok and to the guy's friendship. i think entering a friendship so tightly wound would make anyone's anxiety a little worse (especially if you have social anxiety).

i wanted to say i'm struggling a little with the chapter. i'm worried it won't live up to the first.

so this is whyi haven't posted heat waves pt. 2. i might re-write the whole chapter or use bits and pieces of it. or maybe i'll edit it, re-read it this week and post it this month. it's been a year since i wrote chapter 1 and i'm so happy to see it being recommended to people and that it's one people are waiting for! i love you all and i want to write a good chapter that fits with the story, gives us a deeper look into oc's head, and brings in more characters. i just have to get over the idea of perfection and pleasing everyone first.

all this to say - thank you for your patience!!! it's so fucking appreciated!

I found this in my drafts today. I wrote this after watching their Vegas concerts.

you know what i get really happy thinking about? listening to bts in ten years.

how i will still have their songs on a rotation, some not listened to in awhile buried deep in playlists semi-forgotten. i will think of the happy memories that accompany each song, how they helped me through rough times and made the good times even better. i will think about the growth that i have made in those years. i will watch their performances and music videos released that first year i started to love them and i will smile happy with memories of screaming on discord and tumblr with my friends. i will think about all those friends i made because of them, some that have fallen by the wayside and some (hopefully) that have been maintained and kept. i will think about dancing alone in my apartment and the joy that filled each room.

i think about the projects they have not released yet and how there will be memories and emotions attached to those songs and projects. i think about their growth as human beings and as artists both private and public.

i am excited for what the next decade will bring.

i was watching what we do in the shadows and thinking about the fic that i was going to write this summer that would be based on it. i haven't written that fic but i did decide to write this tonight.

kim namjoon - baron afonas - everyone has a crush on him and wants to fuck with him... literally everyone - master of all - will let loose if given the opportunity - will definitely eat human food when he shouldn't

kim seokjin - vladislav - everyone wants to fuck him - loses himself to "his dark bidding" online - is also pretty much head of the house - has orgies - also probably has a enemy that is an ex-lover

min yoongi - nadja - the only reasonable one in the household - loves everyone but doesn't know how to show it - will also show you that he doesn't like you - isn't afraid to tell you that he thinks whatever you've done is stupid

jung hoseok - viago - likes pretty clothes and pretty people - knows he's fucking attractive - wants the house clean gdi - gives the best fashion advice - definitely has a love that he's still holding onto

park jimin - guillermo - will do anything for the vampires to make sure they're okay - also thinks that everyone else is idiots when they're fucking idiots - (secretly) gay - gets jealous easily - loves jungkook - argues with taehyung

kim taehyung - laszlo cravensworth - thinks everyone is in love with him - horny all the time - cares for small things (humans) - writes music that sometimes yoongi likes and sometimes yoongi thinks they're dumb as shit - would totally decorate the garden with genitalia

jeon jungkook - nandor the relentless - would definitely have 37 "wives" and kind of be shit to all of them but think he's doing a really good job - is deeply insecure and wants to be loved by so many - wants to be taehyung's best friend - is great at a million things... the only problem is that was when he was human and now he's slightly out of touch - nandor DEFINITELY has a million air purifiers if he could/if he knew what they were

Hello Everyone!

(Yes, I made a banner just so I could use this photo. They are cute af!)

As some of you may have noticed I have been absent for the last few weeks and that has to do mostly with family things and being sick with a nasty infection, but it's also because I need to take a break.

My summertime sadness has settled in and usually when that happens I try and distract myself with tumblr, tv shows, games, anything to not feel the sadness that sits deep in my mind and chest but it doesn't help me. In fact, it makes it worse. I want to stop making myself feel worse. I want to take care of myself. I write about characters struggling with depression and anxiety and how they can take care of themselves and I often feel like I am a hypocrite because I don't follow my own advice.

So, I have decided that I am taking a month off from Tumblr. I might post some things occasionally, I may post new additions to a few series (I am working on a Heat Waves drabble and a new chapter for Lost Myth) but mostly I will be inactive from Tumblr for the month of July.

I am almost at a milestone with followers and that means so much to me. I absolutely love the community of people that I have met because of this fandom. I am thankful for every single one of you whether you are a silent reader or a close friend, you all are amazing!

I hope everyone has a great July and that the month treats you well.
