so ive jumped back into my harry potter hyperfixation lately and it’s been kinda annoying me that jk rowling has never bothered to release a map of where everything is bc i like being able to visualise where everything is. so!! i’ve decided to create my own map!! i’ve tried to make it as accurate as i can. i’ve used these three other fan maps (1 2 3), the hp wiki, and google maps. so! some notes:
i’ve put hogwarts where it is bc in prisoner of azkaban hermione says that dufftown isn’t far from there
ive put blackpool on here bc a) neville was pushed off the end of blackpool pier so i feel like he lives around there and b) i live there so i thought itd be funny lmao
malfoy manor is supposed to be in wiltshire but it ended up on the border between there and dorset oop
since we never get told whereabouts shell cottage and tinworth is, i put it at tintagel bc that’s a pretty magical place (arthurian legend shit and all that)
azkaban is supposed to be an island in the north sea, so i just sorta put it there and said good enough
there are probably better maps out there but i made this for myself and decided to share it lmao. i tried my best with accuracy!!
